# About Friendly Hollow

Practical printables for the everyday business of raising children.

## What it is

Friendly Hollow has four free tools for parents and carers: a [reward chart maker](https://friendlyhollow.sbs/) with stickers to tap on or print, an [allowance calculator](https://friendlyhollow.sbs/allowance-calculator/), a [morning and bedtime routine chart](https://friendlyhollow.sbs/routine-chart/) with picture steps, and a [screen time planner](https://friendlyhollow.sbs/screen-time-planner/). They are meant to be set up by a grown-up and then used together with children, on screen or on the fridge.

## How it works

Everything runs in your browser. There are no accounts, no forms that send anything, and no adverts. Your charts, routines and plans are kept in your browser’s local storage on your device, and nothing you type is sent to us or anyone else. Once a page has loaded it works offline.

## Where the numbers come from

The screen time planner quotes the World Health Organization’s 2019 guidelines for children under 5 and summarises the American Academy of Pediatrics’ 2026 policy statement, with links so you can read them yourself. The allowance calculator shows common approaches, not rules, and is not financial advice. The stickers and pictures were drawn for this site.
