Morning and bedtime routine chart
Line up the steps of the morning or bedtime routine, each with a simple picture so even non-readers can follow along. Tick them off on screen together, or print a checklist or a week grid.
Nothing is collected. There are no accounts and nothing is sent anywhere: what you type here is saved only in this browser’s local storage on this device.
My morning routine
0 of 8 steps done.
Using the chart
Choose Morning or Bedtime, then edit the steps on the right: rename them, add an optional time, change the picture, move steps up or down, or remove them. Six to ten steps is plenty; fewer is better for younger children. Each routine is saved separately in this browser.
On screen, your child taps a step when it is done and it gets a big tick. Ticks clear themselves the next day, or press Untick all. When every step is done, the chart says so.
Printing
The Checklist layout prints one large picture card per step with a box to tick, which suits laminating and a dry-wipe pen. The Week grid prints the steps down the side and Monday to Sunday across, with a box for every day. Both fit US Letter or A4 portrait.
All the pictures were drawn for this site in a simple, high-contrast style so they print clearly in black and white.
Questions
What age is a picture routine chart for?
Pictures help from about age two or three, before children read. Older children often like a list with times instead; you can keep both by adding times to the steps.
Can I make one chart for each child?
Each browser keeps one morning and one bedtime routine. For a second child, print their chart, then edit the steps and name and print again.
Is my child’s name stored anywhere?
Only in this browser’s local storage on this device. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else.
